Pity

2025

Genre: Spiritual drama

Logline: Two generations of women meet in the middle.

In wholeness, Pity is simply about the generational divide between us. It is not so much about the plight of women, nor is it a plea to women, but merely a portrayal of two distinct realities of femininity. Producing Pity was a selfless process. In the context of my life, which is the only viable context in which anything I do can be measured, this film represents an evolution of responsibilities. This is a film for survivors. What makes me qualified to help women is that I am only here because of a woman. All films aim to evoke a feeling, and the lingering feeling of this film is one of preservation. To preserve what is sacred, and pity those who find out the hard way.

Disintegration

2023

Genre: Domestic Drama

Logline: The promise of permanence causes a blooming relationship to collapse on the first night in their new home.

In order for two to become one, one must be willing to become two. When two individuals are so solidified into themselves, into their own skin, what happens? Love is the ultimate sacrifice of the self. If we cannot assimilate, we disintegrate.

Written Work

Holding a Bachelor's Degree in Creative Writing has enabled Boddah to write in a multitude of mediums. The poeticism of his prose is oftentimes emphasised in his highly distinct duologues, exhibiting a synergistic emotionality in his brave vulnerability.

Boddah's relationship between the page and the pen emulates that of the screen and the subject. In treating the script as scripture, as its own sovereign entity, in spite of the skeletal deficiencies, his screenplays appeal to all four interpretives: the historical, the allegorical, the anagogical, and the tropological.

Serving ideals over ideas, putting the audience before his own ambitions, Boddah imbues all his narratives with the numinous.

His most influential writer is Sarah Kane.
